Write the Vision

What's good, folks? I'm keeping this one short today...

I have spent the last few days pondering what it really means to follow your dreams. Very few people are able to drop whatever it is they are doing to start a brand new life for themselves and follow their dreams. The rest of us have too much going on to do that, so we are forced to find alternatives routes to fulfilling such dreams.

But in many respects, we have so many dreams, we forget what exactly they are and where they were developed from. So, today I took some time and wrote out my dreams so that I had somewhere to reference all of the things that float around in my head. It felt great to write these things out on paper so that I could physically see what I wanted to do in my life. I broke things out into categories and just started writing. I wrote out the things that I definitely foresee, and I wrote out the things that certainly seem like a stretch. But in all, I wrote them down.

After they are written down, its really up to the individual to figure out what they are going to do with them. But in any case, take some time in the next few days and write down your dreams, goals, and aspirations. I am glad that I can now somewhat jumpstart the process of following my dreams, even though pushing the reset button on life if not much of an option.

Peace,

JR

I found this post to be interesting. I never really thought about having dreams. Of course that doesn't mean I aspire to do nothing. But I've never really put serious thought to it, or goals for that matter. I just go wherever the wind takes me. And by wind I mean the Lord lol.
